The best one I went in was called The Railway (I think) You could stand outside in the beer garden so it was't too cramped. But to be honest none of them were great!

There's a couple of good pubs across the river in Stockton Heath (down past Wilderspool), but it's a bit of a trek back to the HJ. It's the same as any place really, regarding town centre pubs, more a case of quantity over quality. Top tip though. Fellas, if you're in the Bluebell Pub (out of Warrington Central station, turn left, walk straight up into town, it's on the right past the Hop Pole), and you have the urge to visit the 'little boys' room, the ceiling is quite low. Either stoop over or run the risk of banging your head

There are quite a few of us Leythers going, and we are going in a pub called the Albion, think its in the town centre.



It's a real ale pub by the way.
