The officials were extremely poor. Everytime they made a bad decision the fourth official came on and spoke to them at the next oppurtunity and it was not just for water as he kept pointing to where incidents had occured.
We have all seen the photo evidence of Brannigans try.
James haley clearly put the ball down before going anywhere near the cornerflag/touchline.
Said "Stanley" Tamghart's try being ruled out for stealing when the keighley player clearly offloaded.
What would have surely been a try for nash when he stole the ball one on one and raced away only to be pulled back because another player grabbed him after the ball had gone.
When the keighley player was over the line on his back and looked like he reached over and put the ball down, that is either a try or if he had called held then a penalty to halifax it should not have ended in a play the ball.
These are just five incidents that changed the game from being a easy win to a hard fought win
Neither side were very good at being onside, i always thought you could not move up until the ball is played not when the ball touches the floor.
I know being a halifax fan i did not notice if he was favouring us in the first half but it was ridiculous how much he pinged us in the second.
Jermaine Wray when he came on in the first half was very good in attack but he was very dirty when tackling swinging arms and third man in with either elbow or knee.
The biggest thing that i had to laugh at was when wray broke down the middle and said tackled him from behind and punched the ball out. The ref actually had his back turned when it happened and so gave a penalty for a headhigh tackle. BIZARRE
