I am planning to visit the WH Smith store in Bury to morrow to see if they may be prepared to stock some Rugby League books on their shelves. I may get told by whoever I speak to that there is nobody interested in rugby league in Bury so I thought that I would have a look at your web site before I set off. I was quite amazed and very pleased to see just what is going on at the club and how many people are involved.
For those of you who, in addition to playing and/or watching the game at what ever level, there are also some who enjoy reading about the game, its many characters and its fascinating history since it was born in 1895. Any books that I manage to leave in the store are published by London League Publications. Their web site is www.llpshop.co.uk which is well worth a look. |
