Sammut Inspires Bulls To Keep Playoff Hopes AliveJarrod Sammut inspired a Bradford fight back as the Bulls came from behind to secure a much needed 19-12 victory over Hull FC at Odsal.
The former Crusaders half back came off the bench in the first half and it was his creative spark from stand off that changed the game in the favour of Francis Cummins' men to keep their feint play off hopes alive.
Sammut's introduction had an immediate impact as he scored from his own kick to level the scores after Tom Briscoe had opened the scoring for Hull by taking advantage of some soft defence to romp home after 12 minutes.
He later had a big say in the final, match-winning try when he took on the Hull defence and made a half-break before slipping a neat off-load back inside to Matt Diskin who crashed over and sealed the victory for the home side.
