I feel genuinely sad - Blade Runner is my favourite movie of all time, and his improvised death speech at the end is iconic stuff; even more poignant now.
I like to think that as he died, he said, "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe..."
Anybody around 50 will know how damn good Rutger was. The Hitcher, Blade Runner, Escape from Sobibor, Flesh and Blood, The Osterman Weekend and if you have not seen it, i highly recommend Soldier of Orange.
