Well as you may or may not know, my living has depended upon timekeeping for these past 30-odd years and its really simple, you couldn't have lots of computer functions without using a 24 hour clock.

I had one of those cube clocks with the twisty corners, once. Bit weird at first but ok once used to it. Strangest clock I've ever seen was one of those binary ones. Don't think I'd ever suss it out enough to tell the time in one look without having to really study it.

Just realised ... most people have home entertainment stuff with a digital time display.
Also, a lot of people nowadays don't wear a watch, preferring the 24 hour time display on their mobile phone.
