Perhaps Atos can appeal against the police decision that no crime was being committed. I understand appeals have quite a high success rate these days.

I know where ATOS should be told where to go. They're are a shameful bunch who have no heart at all ( just like the ConDem Government are ).

i.e a contract whereby ATOS make their money by ensuring that a quota of examinees, a quota not determined by anything other than a desired reduction in cost, are refused DLA and shoved into a job market where there are 6 unemployed for each vacancy?

Funnily enough I attended an ATOS assessment this very morning. I went expecting the worst after reading many bad things about them, but I was actually pleasantly surprised at the way they handled everything. I know that's not everyone's experience of them but my own experience wasn't too bad at all.

Don't know yet, will find out in ~2 weeks apparently. I know some people have had really bad experiences with them so I was a bit apprehensive about it but I can honestly say it wasn't anything like I had feared. Mind you, I work full-time so I was only being assessed for mobility problems not sickness benefits or ability to work so perhaps I didn't get the full works.

Or maybe the guy just couldn't really give ATOS?
