Most of us wondered about Saddam and the missing weapons years ago, I don't think that Daily Mail article will shed any new light on the mystery.

Just looked at your blog re Sheffield. Sounds like you didn't choose your restaurants well. There is a good little Italian on London Road (assuming it is still there) that was set up by a chef trained at Sheffield's most well known Italian restaurant.

I shall refrain from saying that I now know who put the you know what in Shorpe!

There's a Michelin-starred one in a village just outside the city. I'd have considered that were it not for the weather. And I didn't get to choose the balti house, as it was a sort of staff nosh up.

But I shall bear in mind the Italian if/when I get sent there again.

I looked it up it is / was on Abbeydale Road off London Road. It may have closed though as I cannot find any reviews. It is / was called Luna Rossa. The first time we went it was not long after we'd been for a couple of weeks near Sorrento where I had enjoyed a particular dish like never before. I had the same thing at Luna Rossa and it was different but equally as brilliant. They had just opened then - husband and wife. Second time we went I was confess I was not as impressed - maybe my expectations were too high after being so pleasantly surprised on the first visit. I'm not sure. But, first time there was very good. I always prefer small restaurants than big glitzy ones / chains and when you choose correctly it is pleasing.
