It is reckoned for the second time that neutrinos have been found to travel faster than the speed of light. If this really is the the case what might the ramifications be, aside from a need to redraft the "laws" of physics? Any physicists or mathematicians (or anyone else) like to have a go at suggesting something logical?

The sun is not quite so far away as we thought and might possibly be a destination in the Virgin Holiday brochure once Richard gets his space craft hire business up and running ?

Probably put it in his winter destinations brochure.

Rules are rules, laws are up for interpretation.

It calls into question the whole basic laws of the universe.
Right now speed is fastest and time is linked to causality.
These findings if proven true throw all that into doubt.
You could have the mind blowing situation where the effect happens before the cause as just one example.
The latest thinking on it is that the Neutrinos are actually jumping between realities which is allowing them to take a short cut.
Of course it could all be down to a fault in the sensors in Italy.

To quote the worst science ever expressed in a movie..

"The neutrinos are mutating".

Was always happening to me as a kid was that - a clip round the ear'ole and the protest "What was that for ?" met with "Just in case".
