Be fair.....It was the biggest disaster ever to have hit England....and Britain.....and probably the world too.....EVER....

Oh, and it helped to deflect memory from that Belgian disaster, where all those Italians were murdered.....

Liverpool is the best night out in the region.

Liverpool every day of the week.

Warrington is a schitthole for a night out. Everywhere you go there are beered up chavs going knuckle to knuckle....when they are not being dragged along the ground, of course.

Avoid Warrington town centre like the plague.
It's chockablock with angry 18 year-olds, thinking they're big town gangsters, going out into town at midnight full of cheap vodka and recreational pharmacuticals.

In the past fortnight, I've heard of 2 seperate incidents, where innocent people have had their drinks "spiked", and then had the poo kicked out of them. One such incident involved a man and a woman in their early 30's (hardly a threat to anyone).
Warrington USED to be a fantastic night out. Now,it's been sadly ruined, with E'd up CHAVS, who just want to fight the world.

I agree Lefty, Wire and Wigan both used to be a good night out, Wigan is currently marginally better than Wire now but both are full of angry kids now.

Manchester over Liverpool, Chester's a good shout.

London, nah, it's too spread out.

I enjoyed Sheffield and Leeds last year, loved Leeds actually.

Leeds is very good, as is Newcastle.

Manchester all the time.

Sounds like Warrington is a bit like a larger scale version of somewhere a bit closer to home.

Liverpool 'til the last train and then finishing off in Chester, that'll do for me...

Just another question, we'll be off to Liverpool then back to Chester late on, so that's sorted.

However, I've never done Liverpool in an afternoon-night before - just at night.

Where will be best for the afternoon, Concert Square or Mathew Street? Where will most pubs generally be open?

I generally find Warrington quite a scary place to go, the police presence for such a small catchment area is astounding. Or at least it used to be when I last went. Liverpool is a good night out and despite what reservations you may or may not have about the city, I think it's generally friendly too.

BTW, where is good in Manchester for a night out? I've been a few times now, and found it hit and miss.

Depends what you're into mate, South on a Saturday night is superb...Clint Boon from the Inspiral Carpets DJ'ing no undesirables in there either.
