or for the really healthy option, you could try the Kidz Breakfast (so-called because it weighs as much as a small child) from Jesters Diner in Great Yarmouth. For £15 you get:
an 8 egg cheese & potato omlette
6 fried eggs
12 rashers of bacon
12 sausages
beans
tomatoes
mushrooms
saute potatoes
4 hash browns
4 black pudding
4 toast
4 bread & butter
4 fried eggs
'"
Not sure whether to be hungry or sick, you'd need plenty of wine for lubrication for that lot. Just the amount of bread alone would be a challenge. I liked the bit on their website that states you can only have two attempts per day. The sausages look disgusting but a runny cheese and potato omelette would be very tasty.

Effing bonkers.
It gets on my proverbial a when the so-called Food Channel shows that bloody awful [iMan v Food [/i.
Mind, that's enough to make white South African cuisine look healthy - and there's a reason that population has such high rates of heart disease - sugar and an aversion to fresh food (except meat and, very, very occasionally, some fish) and fruit and vegetables.

Coddy meant to write 4 x fried bread as opposed to 4 x fried eggs.
The drink of choice on their website shows a can of coke.

| We don't often eat ready prepared sauces, etc out of jars, except I do exempt Mrs Dally from spending 3 or 4 hours in the kitchen preparing my dinner when she's had a 4 hour drive, like today. So she did her quick out of a jar Korma tonight. It was best out of a jar one we've ever had. it was Aldi's "Specially Selected" brand should anyone want to try it.

I am a man. I do cook one meal every few weekends as that's what a family man ought to. Rest of the time, it's a woman's work. Ask Mintball!

A friend of mine who resides in West Yorkshire told us one evening, in his wife's presence, that he had booked her an Italian cookery course as her birthday present so she could prepare him better meals. Remarkably, they are still happily married. Maybe there is a message there?

Nice present, that. Bet she enjoyed it and was happy the food she cooked as a result was appreciated. That's what cooking's about, taking pleasure in seeing people relish that what you've put thought and effort into for them. It's a great feeling.
Gonna suggest it as a Father's Day present from the children to my husband. He'd love it, but would probably prefer a curry course to Italian.
What are your specialities when you do cook? Don't you enjoy it?

The only cookery show (if you can call it that) I watch.
I've made it my gastronomical mission to visit as many of the restaurants featured on the show as possible. So far fifteen have been sampled and thoroughly enjoyed. However I've yet to undertake any of the food challenges. Although I've shuffled out of many feeling like I just have. It's when walking from the restaurant through the parking lot to the car, induces a light sweat on the brow and an impromptu rest in the car, that indicates you might have had a tad too much. You know it's job well done.

I have a similar ambition with Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.

| Having visited 38 of the 50 states and eaten in a variety of restaurants, drive-thrus, roadside diners, truckstops etc. A few observations I can pass on:
Don't ever order 'grits' unless you are partial to a packet of solvite using only 1/3rd of the recommended water
'Biscuits' should never be served at breakfast, especially the usual ones that appear to be made from tri-wall cardboard
Gravy is not white in colour. I don't give a fook what it tastes like, gravy should be brown

| I can handle Adam Richman on M v F.
On the contrary, DDD's Guy Fieri is an absolute tool.
I'd take pleasure in knocking the Yankee stereotype right the fook out.

I do the vast majority in our gaff, too. I'm better at it than my wife and I'm not a misogynistic stain, so it seems to make sense.

| Just lightly fried a tuna steak in a smattering of olive oil.
Added a drop of balsamic vinegar and red chillies in white wine vinegar to the pan once seared on both sides.
Placed it on a bed of basmati rice mixed with finely chopped spring onion and vine tomato's.
Tasted nice.
