| Quote ="Goochie"Why do some people pull onto a motorway, and without even approaching another car move into the middle lane, and then completely regardless of the road conditions around them, stay in the middle lane?
And also, why do some drivers (usually in an Audi or BMW) think that when changing lanes with a car on the inside or outside of them, they don't have to use their indicators because other drivers will just get out of the way for them?
Finally. Do the Super League Stobart lorries exist?'"
I've just got back from Beijing, frankly I'll never worry about cars in wrong lanes ever again.

Enjoy the beach with Molly

Fair enough, but people around here tend to leave it at the bottom of lamposts and when I asked someone one day why they did that they said because they know someone from the council will pick it up!, very annoying.
Glad Molly enjoyed the beach, I dread to think what the East Coast will be like tomorrow and Sunday, packed down like sardines
We're only doing one walk a day, first thing cos its too warm for them.

Please don't take this as a definitive answer but I'd guess it has something to do with moisture content.

Since when did you pour a pancake intoa ring? The only difference is crumpet batter (same as oatcake batter) is yeasted

Ah, you didn't mention the ring.
Or the yeast.
So, I guess the yeast fermenting is what gives it the holes?

| The question that comes to mind more and more often is "Why do people ask questions on the Sin Bin"? It's not like anyone on here knows anything useful.
We have some dudes who know photography, gamers, and we have some computer geeks (obviously), but for anything else you might as well cut out the middle man and go straight to Google yourself.
And don't be fooled by the few who manage to, at some point in any debate, introduce their specialist subject - eg. transport logisitics in the greater Humberside area, or pubs that used to exist in Meanwood pre 1980 but are now much more attractive and inviting piles of rubble (McF ). I've never seen anyone actually interested in the average deisel consumption of an HGV when travelling from Hull to Robin Hood's Bay.
I myself have more than one degree and work as scientific director for our International business division, but would struggle to pull directly out of my head anything scientific that didn't relate to the relatively small area that I now work in.

Pah!
It wasn't just any old pub in the Meanwood area that is now reduced to rubble - IT COULD HAVE BEEN MY PUB !!!
If my grandfather hadn't lost that game of cards with his brother.

| And on a similar vein, a question that I had to consider when I almost adopted a deaf Dalmation dog last year from Dog Trust - how do you recall a deaf dog that has run away ?
Or indeed communicate with it at all ?
I guess there could be a dog sign language, my not-deaf dog understands the finger wag and the finger beckon, especially when food is involved.

Sign language. You can make up your own signals which suit you and your dog. As for recall, I always think its better safe than sorry, so if you're not in an enclosed area, probably best to keep him/her on a long line. Some dogs don't stray very far, my own staffy x hardly leaves my side on a walk so you could train the dog to keep coming back to you periodically so it becomes a habit.
There used to be a deaf jack russell at our training club and he was a nutter, didn't bother him at all.
