I do feel that Harry has escaped the Royal Family more than being excluded from it. A gilded cage is still a cage, with little to look forward to for the second born. Even Charles has hung about his whole life, basically just waiting for a silly metal hat. It’ll be tough for Harry, he’ll inevitably be somewhat institutionalised, and it is a long, long shadow. The thing about Cummings is that he is very clever in some particular ways, and a bit of a div in others. Completely agree - unfortunately the Tories are so far ahead in the polls that Johnson can virtually walk on water - and the cost of the flat doesn't even register. People just want to get back to normal - get vaccinated and move on. If the vaccination program continues at this pace Boris will be fine until the polls move against the Tories but Labour is bland I can't see how this will change.

Maybe at the end of furlough when unemployment will rise significantly then the tide might turn?
