 | Peackock rubbish today no leadership at all we should make Burges,Ellis or Graham captain.

As for changes, England need to go with Eastmond and Tompkins at half back and drop Maguire.

Ellis needs to go left centre and that young lad on the wing who's played 2 games for Hull all season needs sending home

That's my take on it too. Easy to blame a young lad when his centre (Lee Smith) left him stranded twice by being completely out of position.

Oh dear oh dear!

Gleeson and GILMOUR aren't in the squad and Gilmour has played for Scotland, if he's anything like Brough he isn't eligable.

Higham just no.

Morley second row? The blokes a Prop through and through

Im yet to see anything from Westwood or McGuire to say why they should be in the squad

 | Sinfield was outstanding & should be captain, leave Peacock to concentrate on his game, if you know what I mean. Young Briscoe took the blame for Smith terrible defence.

McGuire was at the heart of everything sh/te in the first half.
Agree he should be dropped.
And is Shenton really England quality?
We were making it easy for the Aussies playing relative novices against proper men.
We picked it up in the second half and played...................it was however like taking the p/ss out of ourselves.......by showing what we could do when we know we've lost..
We are a bunch of class losers.

 | I wouldn't move Ellis to centre unless we make the final, where I would put him up against Inglis....I can't see anyone else who will be able to stop him for 80 minutes.

Eastmond has to play next week and Tomkins started to show some good touches in the 2nd half, it was pretty crazy that the biggest cheer all match was when McGuire was subbed...says a lot I guess.

Overall who impressed: Burgess, Crabtree, Eastmomd. Who didn't: McGuire, Lee smith (not that I'm anti Leeds!, Smith did well at wing but was a liability at centre)

Ok so my team next week (seems the popular thing to do!)

FB - Briscoe
RW - Smith
RC - Eastmond (SH if we had a decent centre!!)
LC - Shenton
LW - Hall
SO - Tomkins
SH - Myler
PR - Morley
HK - Roby
PR - Peacock
SR - Burgess
SR - Ellis
LF - Sinfield
SBS - Crabtree, Graham, Wilkin, *anyone*

A couple of people I would like to see back in the fold next year with a bit of form would be Gleeson and Pryce....I believe Pryce would go well at centre for England, far better than what we have now anyway.
