Great result Sunday with half a team missing, Huddersfield won't be at the Shay next year although Davy still hopeful of completing the purchase of the Shay, Oldham match will be shown on the sportsman and other than Saltys retirement no idea on what our team will look like next year!

Aye, the Doncaster game summed our season up perfectly. A dreadful 1st half followed by a clinical 2nd. A full 80 minutes with players back gives us a real chance on Friday.

Does anyone know why ‘Fax have not made an application to join superleague?, is it the extent of the club to be a little club in a little league?, whilst no doubt the said application would not have been successful it would show where things need to improve to be considered.
Have the club put forward any sound reasons that they declined to apply, for me the silence is deafening, I have not seen or read anything from the people who are regarded as the BoD to give reasons as to the non submitted application. It seems a p1$$ take when ( no disrespect to ) Doncaster, London Bronchos , Oldham have thrown their cap into the mix, London nearly folded earlier this year, or can it be old boy network, can you imagine the conversation, Between super Nige and Hetherington, “ I say old chap, do us all a favour and fark off to the smoke, make sure the club does not fold and we will cosy up at voting time”.

50/50 game on Friday which is being streamed on YouTube sportsman rugby league channel.


Matt shaw reporting us signing of a young hudds giants centre or wing darius carter. Also reporting a big turnover in the playing roster .


There's a couple leaving I'm not happy about and one in particular that nearly made me put my foot through the tv who Bradford are sniffing around. 


We won't have applied to superleague because of our financial situation. 

Fax in Asia. I'll answer although i'm not sure it will appear on here as i post things and they never show. As you say, we've no chance of SL as things stand and anyone who dosen't believe that the clubs to be in it next year haven't already been chosen must live in cloud cuckoo land. But here's the thing. Not applying tells our fan base that we're not bothered, not interested and that is one of the reasons we are where we are. A future of playing meaningless friendlies and being a vehicle for SL sides to get injured players fit with game time just dosen't appeal. I accept we haven't money atm but our lack of ambition is killing the club and even a statement saying as much from our directors would at least be an acknowledgement to the fans.

Off subject slightly but i fear for professional rugby league. Despite taking my three sons to watch  week in week out as they 
grew up, one being a scholar until they shut it down and sent him to Salford, they all do not follow Fax at all. Last time they went was v Saints in the semi.


One  grandson is only interested in premier league. The other plays football in the hotbed of rugby league Sidney!
What hope is there for the greatest game.

When i go to the games there does not seem to be many 20 to 40 year olds going any more. Support for the game cannot compete with other things for their time.

It’s the site that has died since the changes and with all the rest of the manipulation's and corruption going on the game I knew is dying along with it as is my interest at the moment.
