Could be interesting, caused upsets last season, and could do it again.

The other games are all average.

Would be better to go back to local derbies! IMO would be better for the neutral fans watching other games!

Well a load of crap ties there, and playing them the week before takes the little shine off it there was.

Won't be travelling up for this one, however were the RFL to introduce a 9's competition at the City of Manchester stadium to open the season, similar to the Middlesex 7's in Rugby Union then that's something I certainly would attend.

Or have Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Lebanon playing club sides in pre-season freindlies. I can but dream.

I wanted our usual easy Edinburgh fixture.

What a load of sh*t, should be derbies every year, at different locations.

I'd love to see something like that, it's ideas such as these that bring the supporters who don't usually attend regular league or cup game's.

We pride our sport on being innovative and creative, yet when we could introduce a competition such as a knock out 9's competition that fans would love we let ourselves down.

Just the draw to give the non event what it needs, an early end!

I think the concept of the Magic Weekend might struggle to recover from this to be honest.

I think it will now be a struggle to obtain reasonable crowds for the two days. Could well be the final Magic Weekend to happen IMO.

They will have to price the tickets comparatively low, to get the crowds.

Can I just remind everyone that we havent beaten Huddersfield since March 2008...

Theres going to be poor crowds for this one imo. I just can't see the crowds turning out for those fixtures.

If it's to carry on next year i'd love to see the RFL use Cardiff City's football ground that is brand new and holds about 30,000. It would create a fantastic atmosphere in comparison to how it's been in these huge stadiums.

I started off in favour of the event, but that was with the view of laying a platform for a Welsh club. Now I really can't see the point.
Regular season home and away then the playoffss.
