The biggest decrease was Leeds. Down something like 1200 a match. And they are the champions.

Are those average attendances or minus numbers?
If I recall, most teams were down apart from a few - Saints, Celtic. I can't remember who else.

AFAIK none of their games were capacity crowds so it wouldn't have an impact.

Our gates have actually held up quite well when you think of some of shocking performances this season.

I'd be more worried if I was a supporter of Wakefield, Quins or even Leeds.

You have to admire the Hull FC fans too, to record 13k as an average with the season they have endured is superb.

I must admit to feeling a little complacent given that we remain the best supported team in the competition and are on route to, hopefully, an unprecedented 3rd consecutive Grand Final win.

So what is this bomb shell that awaits me if I have more to worry about than fans of the Bulls?

The decline in numbers is a worry though, especially as it is the first time we've topped the league since 2004.
