The pitch is looking good for Sundays pre season fixture against the Hunslet Hawks!!
Don`t forget for this game we are having a one off experiment with a 1pm kick off.
Its the first chance for a look at Stankys team playing against the highly rated Hunslet Hawks, a lot of people hot tip for Championship 1!!
Fingers crossed the weather stays as it is!!!

Update for Sunday.
Ive been up to the ground twice today as has Walter Tann to inspect the pitch, there is some standing water on the pitch BUT if the rain holds off there is a chance it will drain away.
Early tomorrow morning a pitch inspection will take place where a definitive decision will be made.
Head Coach John Stankevitch has been kept informed of developments and like us all he is very keen for the game to take place.
As soon as a decision is made it will be posted on the Hornets website, also members who we have the mobile phone numbers for will receive a text message to inform them if the game is on or not.
Fingers still crossed!!
