Don't want to get in a slanging match about things that aren't important and i've said my bit on the Leigh forum but just want to say this was also my 1st league away match the other side of the pennines and was a bit shocked at the away following...

Anyway the game...

I thought we played well but stupid mistakes and our completion rate was shocking. In the first Leigh scored a try through an interception from a long pass (which Badvibes predicted would happen about 20 seconds earlier) and a kick off which we couldn't collect and Leigh re-gain.

Attacking wise I thought we was excellent, Menzie didn't have his usually amazing game but still played well and our offloads and running from Dummy Half was excellent and caused their line really problems. We did miss Q and Wood but as I said it was errors and penalties that cost us such as a disallowed penalty for crossing and a penalty for being offside from the kick off.

Was a nervous final few minutes as we gifted them the ball too many times close to our line and if they scored even one point we wouldn't have got the bonus.

As a new Eagles fan I'm told we usually don't play well after a big break and was thinking the worse today so I'm happy with the bonus, let's go to Fev with Q & Wood back, do the same and could get the win!

Our record at fev is pretty good, but yes it's a big ask. I'll be happy if we make the top six. For a club of our size, age and fanbase, reaching the top six four times in five years would be a remarkable achievement.

We could do with Fev losing though Ian.

Totally agree Ian , would love a Seagulls win , but even the great Tubbs couldnt make a silk purse out of a pigs ear , Charlie says Fev 34-Seagulls 12 ,as for Mr B always was very Patronising
