I thought he was leaving as he couldn't commit to full time due to work commitments,but now we learn he is off to the full time environment at London. Got told a few months ago that the Broncos were interested in Eddie. Would have liked him to stay but guess it wasn't meant to be.

Just Curious now we are full time side How much a championship rugby league player gets paid per year i would guess 15-20k for a squad member going up to 50k for our better players

I dont have kids and a relatively small mortgage so if i was a rugby player i would probably accept a pay cut to play full time but i understand players who have families and bigger comitments I just hope we dont over spend because we would need a squad of 20-25 plus coaches and admin staff our wage bill probably a minimum of 500,000 (Based on a 30 staff average 16,667) probably around the 750,000 could even top 1 million pounds so where is the money going to come from even if we play at bramall lane will probably average 1,000 1,5000 if we are very lucky SU will take their cut so even if we keep 75% (likely to be less) ticket prices £15 (Likely to be less if you factor in Season Tickets) so if we play 14 Games thats 1500 x 14 x £15 £315,000 75% thats 236,250 so we would need at least another 500,000 to break even anybody know how much we will recieve from the RFL ? the rest will need to come from sponsorship and merchindise

I'm sure I have read posts from Huddersfield fans stating Ken Davy pays for everything - plus they will receive Sky money.

It may help if supporters started a Squadbuilder type of thing - even if it just to pay for an overnight stay in a hotel for GI to use,should he need a little time,while pondering whether or not to sign for us.

Very cynical comment not like you , I've seen where the games are meeting the fans and think the Salary Cap must be a deer ed to which proves some clubs must be ready to preceeding the final table and look to recruit the suitable p,aging staff for the coming season we at Leigh are no doubt ready to Mar H on , I look forward as I always do .

When will we know (not about GREG - obviously) but the rest -it's worse than waiting for christmas and if more are going need to know before the honours night so they can say goodbye.
