I'm not a fan of clauses like this. The big games should have the best players playing in them. This lad shouldn't miss out because of spite/ fear from another club.

He could always have honoured the contract which he cheerfully signed last year. Then there'd have been no problem.

I dont dispute that's it's a contractual issue and if it is legally binding that he can't play gainst Sheffield then of course, he shouldn't play. I still don't like these types of clauses. I just think rugby should be played on a pitch not in solicitors offices and court rooms.

Just to let you know there is other forms of transport ie car,train etc,I know these probably wont have hit Halifax yet but there great things and you should embrace them when they evetually come to your town.

We did him a massive favour and if Fax do decide to play him then they are stupid, the clause is written in the contract and we could easily pursue legal advice and get some money off Halifax, which as I stated earlier they clearly haven't got much of, word on the grapevine is they may well be in deep trouble if they don't get the bonus from making/winning the final.

If thats the case you dont utilise them very much. We have allocated you 4 car parking spaces for tomorrow nights game, Try your best to fill them, maybe a marketing campaign could help.

Again, We need to win the final for the money defo, Being a fax fan myself i know the club are struggleing financially but its the BOD fault for all the cock ups this year, Tommorrow could be the last time most of these players play for fax, i would say that at least 12 of the signed players will leave as they do not have the money for next year, even the 2 year contracts have been told to look elsewhere if they can, not good but gives us all the more to look forward to tomorrow.
