I'm right glad we've drawn Wigan, they are one of the poorer sides in the SL and we could possibly beat them, AGAIN.

What's your support like these days on average? Will Brammal Lane imoprove it?

I used to really like Wigan then when we played them I went really off them because of the way some of their fans too the p*ss out of us on a certain day in May in 1998, that didn’t last that long though!!



Then I warmed to them a bit after they got a real pasting by Saints at the Millennium and the chairman had the balls to come into the streets and chat with their fans. Also met up with some fans at the World Cup who were great lads so I have warmed to them even more.

I think they have turned the corner and will finish top 4 this year. They went through a crazy patch when the seemed to release loads of good local lads just to accommodate over the hill foreign mercenaries.

As for the pies, they may be famous for them but do they have them naked? Only Sheffielders have the luxury of Hendos on their pies. And not those Pukka pie things with are like wallpaper paste with gravy granules for flavouring, Crawshaw’s pies made with proper steak from real cows.

We are hoping the move to Bramall Lane will vastly improve our attendances, perhaps even double them. Last year we were pretty steady around the 1000-1200 mark. For what it's worth, I think Wigan have as good a chance as anyone as winning super league this season.

The kick off has been put back to 4pm because we are going to show the televised Leeds vs Hull game on the big screen before our match to allow supporters to come into the ground, have a drink and soak up the atmosphere ready for the main event.

As for the lower Bramall Lane end, as long as there aren't a load of pigs spitting, urinating and throwing projectiles down then you should be alright.
