Anyway, hardly vintage tonight but a win's a win, bit of a steal if we're being honest!! Thought Connor Scott showed up well and Q was magnificent. Menzie killed three people which even for him is a good effort, Hendo his usual self. Thought we were pretty poor first half, much better second half but still room for improvement. Top 4 back on.

Just watched the game back, we were so much better after we went 12 points behind. Chucked the ball around and played really expansive rugby, no coincidence that we scored three tries and won the game.



Oh and that conversion was clearly over, cheating gets.

Some tired legs out there but in the end we deserved it for never giving up. Incidentally my grandson, who was in a different part of the ground to me, says that the "conversion" didn't go over. It looked marginal to me and I wouldn't argue either way.

I watched it back on sky+ at least ten times, it went over. Wasnt a good showing by the officials yesterday, if the video ref hadnt been there christ only knows how we would have gone on.



Tale of two cities story last night, great attack in parts and rudderless attack in parts. Shocking defence in spells but also some good defence. Tubby will be going ape**** about Barrows first two tries, very poor tries to concede but didnt we stick at them well. At 12 down i thought it was gone but what a last 20 mins to win the game. We did get away with an outrageous forward pass by Bergin to Browny. Did their lad get put on report for the late shot on Bergin after that pass? That was shocking.



All in all well done on a great rallying performance after some very basic errors. Superb entertainment and i really ejoyed the match programme as well, especially page 23.

Honestly, they must only be let out in the evenings.

He did get put on report but having watched it back I don't think it was that bad.

My first league game at Don Valley and I know people slate it but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Bramall Lane is miles better, a lot closer to the pitch, big screen, scoreboard, close to city centre etc but there was a good atmosphere last night!



Anyway, the game. Thought it was mix bag, spells of good defence & attack but then very poor too. I thought we played alot better in the last 20 minutes after we went behind but Barrow may have switched off a little bit.



I thought Q had a good game and Brown's kicking game too. They make a good half back pairing and hopefully they will gel abit more over the rest of the season. Well done to Connor Scott for a decent performance too.



Not a great performance but its a much needed win. Shame we don't have a game for three weeks now!

Oh, Does anyone know where I could get a copy of the Sky game? I don't have Sky & I know I will be able to see the highlights on Eagles TV but like to see the full game, etc.
