It was said at the awards do last night that Michael Knowles has signed a 2 year EXTENSION meaning he's here for the next 3 years.

Also that Ryan Hepworth, Sam Scott, Tim Bergin and Alex Rowe are moving on.

Shame about Sam Scott was looking a good prospect and was holding his own in the first 13,Where's he going?Hepworth and Rowe good servants presumably released,tim Bergin,released? or pastures new?

Says on the official site that Armstrong played all season for Swinton on the wing, when he played all season at left centre. He's signed for the Eagles primarily as a centre.

He was excellent at centre when we played Swinton at Leigh earlier in the season, best player on the park.

Great news about Davey too, every successful team has two quality hookers.

Already a 24 man squad if my OP is correct, that's including Williamson and Scott (Connor).

Some serious firepower in that back line. Menzie, Tom Armstrong and Duane as centres and Nev, Scott and Vinnie on the wing, QLT at full back and Misi who can play in any of those positions.

Edit: Almost missed Matt Garside there as well.

Tubby has normally had more "heavy duty" props than he has in the current list. With Rowe and Hepworth gone, will he add to that or use second rowers as backup to Jack, Mitch and Liam?
