how many Seagulls fans do you think will be attending the NRC Final at Fax ?Charlie thinks an optimistic 500 at most , and I think around 3000 Leythers at most , include around 600 from the Bowl teams and Nuetrals , giving a figure of around 4100, not very good for a Final .

In my opinion it was a BIG mistake to leave Blackpool , and I feel the attendance will show im right , one last question , what is there to do in Fax at the week-end ?Circus ?Tower ?Zoo? Beach ?

What time's our game kick off ?

Obviously, it's nearly three weeks away, so the RFL probably haven't decided yet ......

RFL site says 3 pm - probably just a default time. Some other "official" site says it's on Friday 19th.

And we wonder why folk don't come to the games ............

I agree Charlie, big mistake to move it from the seaside. The amount of money Blackpool wanted for the final would have vastly drained your prize fund. Do you honestly think the crowd would be any bigger. Plus its too far for the 411 seagulls to fly. The attendance will be what it is, the venue to the true rugby people of both clubs should not make a difference. The circus will be a one sided game to the Gulls, the tower is just up the road at Wainhouse, the zoo bar is in Town and the beach has been replaced - you will be playing on a newly re-laid pitch. Enjoy !

I'd say we'll take 1000 tops - around the figure we've taken to Warrington for the playoff final the last two years.

There will be cash turnstiles available on the day. Both Leigh and Sheffield will be allocated an end behind the posts, these stands are the North and South stands. It is likely that Leigh will be allocated the South Stand. The East Stand will be in use as a corporate and family stand, at this point I understand this stand to be ticketed.

I wasn't aware that the stand at the other end of the ground was even in use. I presume we'll be in there.

Will we be in charge of operating the scoreboard?

I was at the Championship Grand Final last year and saw and talked to quite a few Eagle fans.

About a 1000 there I thought.

Charlie is a Realist , I have already said im expecting 600 seagulls fans tops ,as for last years GF , Frank wouldn't remember what month it was staged , never mind the crowd

, I respect everything that has been done with the seagulls , and rate you as a team , but at the moment , I feel this Leigh team is coming right at the right time , and will win bothe the NRC and the GF , CHARLIE KNOWS , this is the year of the CENTURION
