Ive watched the Eagles for years and do enjoy the games,But my interest in rugby league as a whole has wained somewhat over the years,the loss of promotion and relegation is a bug bearer of mine,I said at the time it wouldn't improve anything and it hasn't,The finances have got worse,Nomore British players/coaches coming through that was supposed to happen,The international team is no better,Anyway moving on

,Constant changing of rules/promotions etc,Ridiculous feeder arrangements like this,They wonder why the crowds are getting turned off,The RFL havn't got a clue,Complete shambles and they don't know what there doing,I'll bet the clubs who usually finish in the top 4 will still do so,It's ok having these big hitters for one-off games but wont help them out in the longrun,Like you say if i was a player and sombody just turned up every now and again,it would phiss me right off and it would certainly make me consider my future,That's were the clubs that dont do this have the advantage,rant over.

can't believe what i read this week regarding gateshead and hull KR's dual reg. Gateshead now playing there first game of the season at hull KR as there own ground is unavailable. Surly there is somewhere closer for them to play also quote "thunder will use rovers insignia on their jerseys" is it me or is this just going to far

Gareth Hock is already on loan to Widnes. He definitely won't be playing.

I agree with you ESO Leigh have gone the same way now with Wigan - oh it's only under 23 yr olds (this week) one more nail in the coffin - think I'll look up the local penine league club!
