It will be a tough one and if i'm honest a more physical and brutal match than should we win and face Leigh or Fev.

I think Fax are one of the in-form teams at the moment but last week we was brilliant and if we play like that again and get Fax on the back foot from the off we have more than a fighting chance. Being at the Lane (hopefully

) Brown's kicking game could be key as I really thought it helped us last week, turn Widnes around and keep them away from our line when we looked drained later on.

By the way, Fax obviously aren't happy playing Sunday, whether that's an early psychological advantage to us I don't know. I hope our game plan doesn't centre around trying to wind Barlow up like it did in the playoffs last season, although it should probably be part of it!

I hope it is, As batley tried a little bit off that tactic on thursday and look what happened there, You tried it with worrincy last year and look what happened there again.

If i was Aston i would just be concentrating on the game and not the wind up tactics, I was talking to Sam this morning at the petrol station, i asked him when the game was and he said sunday, he sadi becuase they know they are going to lose they want the game as late as possible & he was looking forward to their tactics for us to capitalise on.

He's going to feel like a very silly boy if we win then isn't he? And Batley did wind him up, he cocked his arm back to punch someone with 30 seconds left on the clock and if Penky hadn't stopped him he'd have been looking at a suspension, it speaks volumes that your coach felt it necessary to sub him with 30 seconds left. The guy's a liability, very talented, but a liability all the same.

I believe that making us play the game on Sunday will be good motivation for Halifax as we will be up against it IF we beat you ....... But I do understand your clubs reasoning on wanting to play Sunday as it will put 1000 on the gate and if you are to lose then that will be handy cash in these very difficult times.

1-17 outstanding, absolutely outstanding. Easily the best 80 minute performance of the season, really can't pick any faults what so ever. Dane McDonald has been playing out of his skin the last two or three games, completely deserved his tries, running really hard and making loads of yards. It's so good to have so many outside backs who know where the try line is, if we play like we did today on Thursday night we have a great chance.

A country mile (and more) between the teams today and doesn't it feel good. Why Halifax persist in picking Sam Barlow when they play us I have no idea, and nor have some 'Fax supporters I was chatting with after the match, it only gives us a man advantage. Couple this with the way Rob Worrincey played this afternoon and it's a 2 man advantage to the Eagles.
