Due to this irregularity quite splendidly noticed by ShayFax, I think it's only fair that, after our superhuman performance against global powerhouse Wigan, we should take Halifax's place in the fifth round and Wednesday night's game should be a league and cup double header.

If there is a re-match or whatever it should be a week on wednesday,not this wednesday,If they do cancel our game against Batley it is a total disgrace and after the advertising the Eagles have done,i would consider sueing the RFL,That's if it does happen

That's pretty much what Karl Harrison said on Radio Leeds this morning. Apparently team sheets were submitted for scrutiny 3 weeks ago. A balls up on both accounts really.

No, there was no rule in place so throwing Hull out would just have ended in the courts. They put a rule in, Halifax broke it, tough luck.

Plus Halifax would have never been able to afford the fine. They would have accepted disqualification instead.
