Numerous people aren't sure whether this will be the Eagles' 1000th game in Rugby League. The 'milestone' has been built up in places during the week from what I've seen on social media but Ian Swire has tweeted that there's an ongoing recount.

The 1000th game will be Fev at home.

Betting Update
Halifax are favourites by 6 points I have stated previously this week that I fancy Halifax to win due to current form and our poor record at the shay however with fev beating Bradford this week both teams now need to win I can see Aston firing the players up and i remember us winning at the shay in a must win playoff game so should be a interesting game.

The other games should go with the favourites however beware betting on the handicap in the Hunslet v Bradford game Bradford are 18 point Favourites when normally they would be high 20's with 2 games in a week are they playing a weakened team ?

Unfortunately Bradford did not play a weakened team kicking myself as -18 points for a team needing to win to win the championship was the bet of the season but it looked fishy so left it alone did not help with the result at Halifax unfortunately my first assessment proved correct but still 3 games to go and 2 wins should be enough unfortunately they are all difficult

Out-enthused and outplayed. Can tell why people may be having doubts about our top four status. Need to put on a good show next weekend against Bradford in preparation for the Featherstone game which is the biggest since our semi-final against them last season. Dont worry he is just a Leigh supporter trying to stir it, they think we are a dirty team and are only in the top 4 at the moment because we try to stop the other sides from playing rugby by dirty play however they dont have the stats to back it up. Just wondering are there any stats for yellow cards red cards and penalties conceded this season in the Championship

Not at all, it's because the second tier must develop into a thriving comp and to do that it needs teams who have a support base to become FT and challenge for SL status on decent gates which will raise the comps profile as a result
