Valiant Oldham Defeated By Eagles - https://eaglehoop97.wordpress.com/2015/ ... by-eagles/
Pretty much strolled through that contest. Through to the next round and that'll do me. Congratulations to Keal Carlile, Jamie Langley and Greg Burns on their first competitive outings in Eagles colours.

| I must give more credit to both sets of players.
Oldham were never going to win the game but kept their spirit, and shape, and they finished strongly.
Scott Naylor is doing a good job and it should be remembered that they have now lost 5 Grand Finals in their quest for promotion - the last one only being in October,5 months ago.
They certainly made it difficult for us - added to the fact we had a renewal of a half back pairing,2 new hookers, new loose forward in JD and Q went off near the end so the spine of the side had altered massively.
A bit scrappy, but the right result.
A big well done to Greg Burns.
