there could be 8 matches in the middle 8 if the 4 coming down played the other 4 home and away?

suggested this ages ago, you take the points from the 6 games against the other teams going into the middle 8 and then play the other 4 teams home and away, this would give you a full season in essence in the middle eight.


But no playoffs in the middle eight except the 4v5 playoff game so time here for the extra week.

Then again why have a 4v5 playoff game if you have a full season of results (all teams home and away) so will never happen.
