Yeah,Cracking servant for the club,Not he most catching on the eye to watch but always gave 100%,Lead the team well,you won't win anything in sport unless you have players like Jack,You need the players to do the hardyards to set up the flamboyant players,It's the flamboyant players that always get the press but Jack deserves his place as one of a few select diamonds that have played for the eagles,Also nice to see Mitch get the captaincy,Took on more responsibilty last couple of years and is probably one off the best props outside super league.

Thanks for the memories Jack and good luck in the future. Kisses from Jemima as well.

13th June 2004: Jack Howieson made his 80th appearance for the club at Hunslet today and then was banned for four games after being red-carded for throwing a punch, in the 80th minute. 1st Eagles player sent off in 3 years when he knocked Shaun Ibbotson (Hunslet) out for punching Simon Tillyer.

Jack is a big powerful runner who hits hard in the tackle and is difficult to put down. Member of Scotland European Nations Cup team. A natural leader both on and off the field. Expected to have another ,massive season in 2005. {Eagles website
