| 'The Centurion' is tha match day magazine of Leigh Centurions. Here's a flavour for what's in this week's edition.
This week’s edition is still 36 pages, although I’m not sure how!
First up, we have a brand new cover design, in conjunction with our colleagues at kit supplier O’Neill’s. The design will form part of the club’s new ‘branding’ policy and features our three most photogenic players. (doesn’t say much for the rest of them!) I hope you like it!
Head Coach PAUL ROWLEY talks to DAVE PARKINSON, about the Doncaster and Keighley games but is non-committal on the key scrum half role.
Skipper ROB PARKER gives his views on a variety of topics and reveals how he has arrived in the 21st century!
MIKE HULME, ‘puts the shoulder in’ and feels sympathy for referees!
CEO TREVOR BARTON tells it as he sees it on the subject of the club’s finances.
Chairman KEITH FREER also joins us to give his message on the finances, and the part we can all play to boost them.
We have a double dose of GARETH WALKER, of League Express, this week. (thanks Gareth - you're a life-saver!) He is still finding mileage in the thorny topic of ‘dual registrations’ and he gives a positive view on the ‘new boys on the block’ in Championship One.
DAVE PARKINSON has another double page dose of ‘Facts & stats’, focusing on Leigh v Sheffield games. Dave also reports on the Under 20’s game with Oldham.
Award winning photographer MAURICE JONES provides his usual excellent selection of images from the Doncaster game
Love RL correspondent, TONY WILLIAMS doesn’t hold back, with his views on Mr. Koukash, and the sacking of Salford coach Phil Veivers!
.
RYAN BRIERLEY, despite having just completed two eighty minute performances, still has time to don his dancing shoes, with the Infusion Dance Academy!
ALAN EDGE considers the players’ views on the outlawing of the shoulder charge, and points out the dangers of ‘multi-tasking’. He also has an in=-depth look at our visitors, and our match sponsors.
ALAN PLATT updates us on Touchdown news.
Mascot PARKY PIG divulges what he’s been up to recently, apart from having his snout in the trough!
Once again, we have the usual squad, fixture and LOTTERY information – all packed into 27 full pages of editorial content, for just £2.50.
Unfortunately, because of printing deadlines for a Friday game, the programme WILL NOT be on sale at our town centre retail outlet, in the days prior to the game.
