Hendo is top quality, but you wouldn't normally expect a Hooker to play a full 80.

From what I've seen of Pat Smith he was pretty poor to be honest, but he was playing half back not hooker. I think not expecting a hooker to play the full 80 is a relatively new concept, something which has worked effectively for St Helens (Cunningham and Roby) Leeds (Diskin and Buderus) and even us last year with Cooky and Hendo. We've seen Hendo play the full 80 this season though without any problems and I foresee that's the way it will go, providing he stays fit.
