| Sad fact is a % of Super League fans (IMO a greater %) are now just that. Its great that new folk have taken to the sport but they have been introduced within the last 15 years because of the promotion SL has had, and know little of the game before and as a result don't have any interest in the teams outside of "their" competition.
Generally I have found if you come across SL supporters who have followed their club since before the introduction of SL, and even more so if they are the latest in an extended generation of supporters, then they often show more respect for those clubs outside the top flight.
