What's wrong with giving the head coaches job to Laurent, he's passionate about the club and speaks both languages as well as being a great fella.

Thought about this myself, I figure that the best thing for Catalans is to put Walters on gardening leave once we are out of the cup and let LF take charge until the end of the year. He may not prove SL coach worthy but it would be good development for him, might make him ready by 2013

I firmly believe that Kevin deserves to finish his time on a high, he has always been polite in the face of great adversity and given the tough times he's had in his life i'd love it if the boys could give him an appropriate send off at Wembley.

LF may prove himself to be ready now, we are guaranteed a new 3 year licence and he should be allowed to grow into the role.

This poster has no idea about anything to do with RL, he doesn't even have a clue about the team he claims to support (probably because he is a troll from Nottingham). If Goulding ends up as coach of Catalans it will just be a coincidence

I kind of agree with that. If injuries (as well as players leaving, of course) are to blame, he should get his chance when the wounded return.

No its not a guess. I have been told by someone who is high up in rugby league, that Bobbie has been talking to Catalans and things are looking very promising. I think it would be good for the Catalans players to work with the French coach week in week out, although it would make it difficult for him to monitor the Toulouse and Elite players.

Bobbie would not be all that bad, but in no way a spectacular choice. We could do with a top coach, not another amateur.

How is Kevin an amateur?

I still think LF deserves a go, stop believing that everything out of Australia must be good (although Kylie & Dannii Minogue are pretty spectacular lol).

I've been to all the TO home games this season plus many Elite games here and there and i've never seen him at any of the games - I haven't even seen him at the Perpignan for the few home games i've seen so far this season ! How seriously does he take the french job ? I could see him coaching at TO (though I think Wynne should get the job) but not at Catalans until he gets some rea

Last night......on Sky Sports the 'bald one' aka Stevo 'reported' that your next coach would be Tony 'Teflon' Rea.

All I can say 'ouch'......he almost destroyed Harlequins RL and could well sink you. Personally I would rate him meters below the current coach and what is worse he comes fron a stint as the defense coach of the Canberra Super 14 union team!!
