| I thought they were playing a few games at Aime Giral while Brutus was being done up.
stormingbronco is correct to highlight some touchiness from the regulars on here IMHO

It gets wearing having to answer non-questions and bizarre conspiracy theories.
Games scheduled for Barcelona and Béziers. Work at the ground ongoing. All this is in the public domain. Not sure what other 'truth' and other terms couched within single quotes for no apparent reason are required here.

It's just 'shy' of ten 'thousand'. Can't remember exactly. Will be over 12 'thousand' when the work is 'finished'.

I think what they meant was that it was a "sell-out", not "full capacity" (personally I blame a lack of bilingual RL reporters). It is common that all tickets are sold, but the stadium remains not at capacity - the Tsunamis of the last Wigan(?) game are a good example.

Still would like to know when the 'work' will be finished......and has it started anyway. Was under the impression that most home games would be away from the sradium this year to enable the work to be undertaken but seemingly this is not the case,

what is your big obsession with the dragons?
why have you not posted this on other forums?
why did you leave out wakefield when mentioning other grounds?
why is grass green?
why does john d have an obsession with full-backs?
what is the average membership of a gym in crosland moor?

| Would estimate that both SAG capacity and gates are currently better than the SGB.
Agree some posters are far to touchy on this site. The reason for my right to askt is that I have had a holiday home - so paying taxes - in the region for over 30 years and always supported the French XIII game.
Hope in future you will understand the reasons for my interest.

For a start, the Aimé Giral has four sides rather than just the three so it would stand to reason that it's bigger. Gates - no idea and don't really care. Not sure what it's got to do with anything though, as the Dragons would have to pay rent on it were they to use it and that would be dead money.
Unless.... Are you something to do with USAP and you're just trying to get us all into thinking it'd be a good idea to get the Dragons playing there as you desperately try to offset the £35k a week paid to Dan Carter that you got sod all use out of?

| .....no JD am not connected to the local RaRa outfit. So shut-up
As for my tax's....like everyone else always think they are to high and never like having to pay them. Still the are a fact of daily life.
Still think that the majority of posters on this forum are rather to 'touchy' for their own and Rugby XIII's good.
Think you need a bit more 'hazing' and perhaps you will become both polite and humble when as asked simple questions by your betters and elders.
Have a nice day. Subject closed at my end.

I suppose all fixtures are subject to late change, but the only two not going ahead at the Brutus are the ones at Barcelona and Béziers.

Is there a reason why my "elders and betters" are unable to write in English unaided? In what way do they count as either "elders" or "betters"? What are they better at? Reading the daily mail? Writing incomprehensible rants on a message board? Complaining that we don't try and decipher those ravings? If you realy are my "elder", then the English education system has let you down.

| The development going on at the moment at one end of the ground is the municpal swimming pool, which, when completed will be the foundation of the new stand. The local Mairie (Town Hall), in agreement with the Dragons financed this, as it was felt that the Dragons were very much involved with the local community and this would be a worthwhile "marriage" between the two. The Dragons seem to be far more committed to working with Perpignan to achieve a common goal than "those up the road". Further development will take place after the pool is completed, in order to provide a stand and seating, which should take the ground up to nearly 15,000.

Yes, for a big match.
We sold out 10k v Wigan last year, did so on some other big matches. I expect we could have sold 15k in our playoff match if we had had the incentive. Our crowds are growing, 10k is starting to be restrictive for the big matches, but we are not running out of room on a regular basis ... yet.

| I was under the impression that the next new construction begining in May, will be a new stand to replace the existing seating behind the posts -- at the opposite end to the swimming pool. That would raise capacity to 12,000.
Then, as I have been told, and the architect's plan presented publicly confirmed this, there was to be a total reconstruction of the little Guasch stand opposite the excellent Bonzom, a reconstruction which would be in the same form as the Bonzom, and raise stadium capacity to 14,000.
The fourth side of the development -- above the swimming pool --- was not in the original plan.
Can someone answer the following questions for me?
1. Will the proposed stand above the swimming pool be developed [iafter[/i the Guasch stand is redeveloped, or is its construction [iin place of[/i the Guasch being redeveloped?
2. If the former, then will the proposed stand above the swimming pool only seat 1,000?

Your first couple of paragraphs tally with my understanding although I do recall plans for a small amount of standing accommodation at the baths end.
