Hotel de la Loge is a sang-et-or favourite. I'd say tell 'em we sent you, but it probably won't achieve anything...
Slap bang in the centre, on the cheaper side of average and performs all the functions you'd expect of a hotel. |

Hi
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I've had a look if it has and can't see anything (I also can't find anything on t'net).
What is the parking situation like around the stadium? We are stopping in Perpignan, but looking at the map, the walk looks a little bit too far for our 8 year old and we are hiring a car.

Not great. It's a bit of a rough neighbourhood and finding the hire car with all four wheels attached is a bonus every time. Far better to use the parking in the centre of town and bus it up to the ground. Buses go from just by the Castillet and hopefully someone else will be able to remember which number it is (I usually walk it and have the memory of a... of a... Oh, nice pair of shoes. What were we on about again?)
That said, for all it is a rough area and it is a risk to park there, I've found the car intact and unmolested on the few occasions I've done it. So take your choice really. |

bus outside le castillet fairly regularly, i think its the number 1 bus but could be wrong, or its a 20 -30 minute stroll from the centre. |

| Usually we drink around place de republique then later on everyone tends to congregate at grand cafe de la poste, you cant miss it, head for le castillet and its literally at the side/behind le castillet, its a minute walk to the bus stop to the ground.
Feel free to seek me out and introduce yourself ill be one of the few weariing the retro shirts or just ask around for me  same goes for any perpignan based dragons fans always nice to meet the local fans |

I'd just like to say thanks to everyone in Perp for making it such a great weekend. The atmosphere was superb and I'm really jealous that you manage to get so many kids through the gates who are passionate about the game.
I'd also just like to recommend the Ibis hotel for any future travellers. We paid £40 per night for a family room and I have to say, for that price it is probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Clean, friendly, close to all amenities and a very secure car park.
La Roma and L'Arago were also lovely restaurants in Place Arago as was Napoli across from the Ibis.
We can't wait to come back - we're already looking at taking our summer holidays there, so we might see you at another Dragons game!

Also which airport would it be better to fly in to (bearing in mind we would not have transport to and from the airport to the accommodation).

Hotels I recommend (with the disclaimer that I've not been for a couple of years) - Hotel de la Loge, Hotel de France. One I definitely don't - Hotel Mondial.
