BIRD SUSPENDED FOR SALFORD CLASH

Catalans Dragons captain Greg Bird will miss his side's re-arranged Super League match against Salford at The Willows on Friday after being handed a one-match ban.

The Australian stand-off was given the suspension, along with a £300 fine, after being found guilty of a reckless tackle on Celtic Crusaders prop Ryan O'Hara in the last minute of the Dragons' 34-0 win in Perpignan on Saturday.

Theres doubt about Ryles & Bentley who are sick & didn't train this morning but travelled with the team. Elima is in for Casty. Moggy ran at 5/8, Casey at half & Bosco at fullback this morning.

Bosc? Have we signed a Catholic Saint to play fullback or are we playing our key player out of position? If so, I hope it's so that Pery can have a go in the halves!

Without Clint, Bosc is probably the best full-back at the club. Stacul or Pelo would presumably be the alternative which would not fill me with confidence.

Bosc got injured. Played the second quarter on the wing and was replaced at half-time. Mounis took over off the tee and wasn't helped by his team-mates scoring out wide in the main.

We were told, when Casey snatched the winner, by a local fan that he hoped our plane crashed on the way home. I'm happy to let him know that I was not involved in any air accident on my way home. I've heard from Rick and he had a similar experience, but Marv is worryingly quiet.

My plane (see Peugeot 106 Diesel) was landed safley thanks John.



Maybe the quietness could be attributed to being so stunned that we not only managed to get points on the board but actually had the audacity to win the game, unbelivable.

You should've leathered him, John. 99% of us have no problem with Catalans, nor anyone who goes to watch them. Unfortunately there's been an increase in bellends at Salford games recently. Apologies on behalf of the right-minded Salford supporters.
