Typical set of non-replies. Posters on this forum seem to be a tat too touchy and some even totally unhelpful in so much that the either are unable or unwilling to answer.

I and others were under the impression some home games were going to OTHER VENUES in '09 e.g Brive & Barca for two while the Gilbert B Stadium was up-graded.

The building work & cranes - at the East end - are I belive for the 'new' swim pool and thus have n'owt to do with with Stadium

The stadium work was to be additional covered seating on either wing ends of the north stand and covered seating in the West goal-post end where it's currently only standing.

No, the stadium is not fully in line with SuperLeague franchise requirements, not enough covered seats, no corporate boxs, and a bit under the minimum target capacity. Admit that there are other venues in the comp. which need to upgrade e.g Salford/Castleford/HullKR and Bradford

The capicity is a tad under 10K. Now please answer the questions!!

Games are being played in Barcelona and Beziers, but to the best of my knowledge it has nothing to do with stadium improvements.

I believe that the plan has always been to spread the word by taking games on the road. I do not think that this is a plan for upgrading the stadium, it's a plan to spread the word throughout the region.

No need for fixture list and glad to see that the Barca/Brive venues are still On but this year am only down for the July 18th game. The Euro rate is a 'killer'

However what did happen to the much mooted 'stadium improvements'.
....put off because of fiscal problems? If so would accept this a quite reasonable in the current difficult climate but if it's for any other reasons it would be interesting to know.

Noted last year the media indicated that the Brutus was at full capacity for certain games and then indicated gates of just over 8K. The 'listed' capacity on the same media sites is given as 10K

So what is the actual current 'legal' capacity of your venue and it's seat/standing ratios. The current SL franchise minimum capicity is 12K and so Dragons are a bit short on that front - which is I believe also means 12K seated and was first set ten years ago.

I think what they meant was that it was a "sell-out", not "full capacity" (personally I blame a lack of bilingual RL reporters). It is common that all tickets are sold, but the stadium remains not at capacity - the Tsunamis of the last Wigan(?) game are a good example.

Would estimate that both SAG capacity and gates are currently better than the SGB.

Agree some posters are far to touchy on this site. The reason for my right to askt is that I have had a holiday home - so paying taxes - in the region for over 30 years and always supported the French XIII game.

For a start, the Aimé Giral has four sides rather than just the three so it would stand to reason that it's bigger. Gates - no idea and don't really care. Not sure what it's got to do with anything though, as the Dragons would have to pay rent on it were they to use it and that would be dead money.

As for my tax's....like everyone else always think they are to high and never like having to pay them. Still the are a fact of daily life.
