Hi all.

In regards to your away game at St.Helens. Will any of you be making the trip over to watch the game ? If so, do you have any idea where you will be sitting ?

Crusaders haven't got a game on the Friday night, and we all love the way you play, so thought we'd come to the game and give you a shout.

The away end at Widnes is the West stand, the east is for Saints season tickets and is always full. You will probably be put in the south if they dont open the West stand (depending on ticket sales etc)

Won't be coming myself but eight coming from St Cyprien. Wendy working in Wigan so she will come down as well, Have a good game.

Am gutted to be missing it this year.

Was the one highlight of last season beating Saints at Knowsley Road.

would like to do the same next year at our new Stadium.

Any news on Dureau? Is he likely to be fit at the weekend?

Looks like Wellens, Wilkin, Meli and Clough could join Gardner, Wheeler and Perry on the sidelines, although Pryce is likely to play by all accounts.

I would imagine your supporters will be in the South Stand. That is where the Quins supporters went and the Cru guys too I think. It's the posh stand although only Widnes level posh so don't get too excited.



Your place looked extremely impressive on TV on Sunday! There seemed to be a real party atmosphere going on. Things could be a little different on Friday night!

Remy Marginet will make his debuts against Saints at scrum-half.

That's where us coming up from Crusaders are going - really looking forward to this game now. Should be a cracker.

I fancy Catalans by 2 points, even without Dureau and Sa.

It's shaping up to be a massive game for both sides, if the weather holds off I can see us just edging it. If it is raining though, I ca can see us struggling, we've been dropping the ball far too much recently even when conditions have been ideal, so it could be yours to lose.

I really don't know where this impression has come from that Potter gave our young players chances. Of the seven promoted for the start of the 2008 season there were only two who played consistently under him: Jamie Foster (made his debut on the wing halfway through last season and has never left) and Andrew Dixon (Matty Ashurst filling in when Dixon was injured). Although a halfback by trade, Jonny Lomax was never played there by Potter in spite of us having a serious injury crisis in the halves for a full third of last season (both Pryce and Eastmond sustaining long term season ending injuries). Lomax made cameo appearances at centre and on the wing when injuries struck there. Lomax of course has been playing in the halves this season and is now in the England Knights. Gaskell, our present stand off, played just one game. Jamie Ellis, subsequently let go and performing superbly for Leigh (with a contract at Hull for next season) played one game. Armstrong was hardly played. Magennis was never played but that was due to his own injury troubles.

Potter chose Wilkin and Moore as his halfbacks last season (neither of whom are halfbacks) instead of training up our young halfbacks, as Simmons has done this season.

Just a bit too daunting.

Not that daunting though. Thought we went really well and were well in it with not long left. Just didn't have that shift up at the end.
