Possibly Jimmy but I think the main reason the club has never looked to England is that it would be easier to integrate any new Australian players with the exisiting Australian players and Australian coaching staff. These people of course have stuck largley to what they know (for obvious reasons), Mick Potter brought in Clint from his time at St George (I Think) and it stands to reason that they would know more about the players they have coached in Aus.

I don't think that signing English players would add any to our traveling support however

Quite honestly, and briefly, I think the answer to the question is no. A big name French signing might be a better bet. If only Sébastien Chabal was ten years younger. And willing to give league a go.

I think they need a new coach. They've never been consistent under Walters and he doesn't seem to be improving them at all, quite the opposite in fact. I despair at their results every week. The crowds are so passionate and in brilliant numbers and they thoroughly deserve a team to go with it, but they are denied it.

Im amazed they dont get linked with available british players. If I was in my early twenties and had the chance to live in France and play for the Dragons I would bite their hand off!

Is this league being too perocial again or do the Dragons not really look deeply into the UK player pool?
