would be good if this catalonian championship in spainish catalonia could link up with some players of spainish origin in france and from a spainish national side, they have a domestic comp and with addition of a few players from the french elite sides of spainish origin they could form a reasonble national side, maybe set up a few sides in other areas of spain as well!

BUC beat CR Valls-Reus 6-0 in a very tight and to be honest slow affair last night. That means that BUC finish top of Group 1 and Valls-Reus miss out on a plcae in the 3rd place final by 2 points.
This coming Sunday, 13th June, sees the 3rd place final followed by the second Catalan Championship rugby XIII Grand Final at the Camp de la Foixarda, Barcelona.

Last Sunday, June 20th, Catalonia played a Roselló XIII at the Foixarda, Barcelona. The game acted as preparation for the international against the Czech Republic next month on July 10th. Eric Delherbe (Catalonia coach), and his assistants, Marc Guerra and Albert Homs, gained many positives from the encounter, including many compliments from the Roselló coaching team with regard to the level of rugby league shown by Catalonia.
The match itself was even throughout, with constant changes of leader and the scorekeepers kept busy for the full 80 minutes. In the end the result was decided by a converted Roselló try in added time with meant the final score was 44-48.
