All St.Helens council Pitches got Called off yesterday, We've reversed our fixture to play away just to get the game to go ahead.

We're looking alright as long as it dosen't freeze tonight we should be ready to go for our game against Hindley

No the first team we're called off aswell they were up at Pat's, so we just had training instead.

lol it was just a question with the bad weather n all. Shame the game wasnt moved to sunday because our ground was playable then.

Ours was playable on Sunday aswell. Always the way!!

Will this overlap into the NWC season at all?

yes the BARLA season ends in May and the RLC season starts on the first sat in May.

All depends in which league you are playing in, some finish early april some will finish early may. We have just been advised of our fixtures and we start with a home game on the 25th April.

At the very most there would be a 2 week cross over, but there wasnt last season.

The end and start of the seasons change every year ! i've been involved with the RLC since 2004

so would it be ok for players to come down and train after the nwc season finishes

The choice is the players - the only rule is that they finish the season first - but no one has enforced it yey.

im considering cuming down to give it ago at the moment im playing for spring view but last year iwent to lancs lions and they tryed to stop me playing for the view i just dont want this to happen again thats all

Wouldnt happen, most of our lads play amatuer in the winter and we have no problems.

Yeh Kingy is still down. I know a few of the Spring View lads are talking about coming down. If you are interested get along to training on Wednesday nights at Standish High School 8pm till 9pm.
