spring view is a tough place to go and i think they will be unbeaten there this year. was a bit shocked with there hindpool result but i think they will pick them selves up and go on to win division 3

I'll be honest mate...Hindpool are not the same side as they were last year...Allot of new faces and very well drilled in comparison to last year.

The sending off and sin binnings we suffered after 15 minutes didn't help...plus we lost our 7 to a broken/dislocated ankle after 60 minutes.

I really don't want to take anything away from Hindpool though....much improved side to there credit.

We have 3/4 new faces in our starting 13 from last year...so we are starting to gel slowly but surely.

NB. See you me whalloped OSJ!! Very good start that.

Be interesting to see what Barrow do about a reserve side next season as we could lose 6/7 players overnight like we did last season.

Well we played you in January....and with all due respect you weren't the best compared to last Saturday....so it would be a shame.

Yeah it'll be an interesting weekend, still as long as we compete that's all i'm looking for this weekend, and try not to tackle for 60 mins like last week!!

In fairness...we we good today, we defended as a team, attacked as a team, and our disipline was very good...massive improvement, and like I said last week "I wouldnt want to be the team we play when we gel"....well today was that day.

Burtonwood showed resiliance in abundance and it is to there credit that they played and battled for 80 minutes. Only for some staunch, hard defending by us on our line they may have had the attacking ability to breach us, but we were awesome in defence.

Burtonwood need to keep numbers, stick with it and I'm sure they will improve.

As for us...onwards and upwards, roll on Moss Bank....oooops sorry, Haresfinch!

Great result for Langworthy heard from a mate that they might have picked some players up from Mancunians RL summer team. They must have got some new players because I dont think they hadnt won for almost 2 years previous to this.

We were shocking against Langworthy. We should have had enough to beat them but I think a few of our lads were too complacent & we got the shock we deserved.

Hopefully we cant be that bad again especially against Spring View this weekend or they'll put 50 on us, if we perform like that again.

so how many moss bank players play for you men now? not that any good like. just interested. we will find out on saturday anyway when we play ya

Alright chaps, thought I would have a look at the site and see whats being said about Div 3. We've had 2 decent wins so far (Irlam) but not played to our best so far I would say, should be an interesting league this year with a few surprises i reckon from teams that maybe have been weaker in the past but are getting stronger this year, Langworthy spring to mind on that note, they gave us a good game in Valentines Cup and have a good win at Haresfinch. Hindpool gave us a good game last week and by all accounts have improved alot from the last couple of years as well so looking like a tough league this year

We were pretty awesome today and it never really looked like Ulverston were gonna beat us. The lads definately made up for a poor showing at Irlam last week and if we were offered 3 points from SV, Irlam and Ulverston before the season started we would have taken it for sure.

springview v langworthy should be interesting next week seeing and there unbeaten this year and we whacked um twice last year. im sure our boys will have enuf to beat them and put them back in there place wer they belong, at the bottom of the table.

I'm pretty sure Golborne A have asked to be dropped down a div or 2, something was said between a couple of women who were sat near me at the meeting on Monday.

I though they were giving up their A team at the end of last season, it's a bit of a joke that they've thrown all 3 games.

Langworthy have had a couple of good games. This player from springview who is putting comments like that, just ask yourself if you are as good as your Making out why u still in nwc3.

hahaha thats probley the exact reaction he wanted my thoughts are that anyone can say what they like on here if it makes people happy or upsets people everyone is aloud a opinion

saturday should be a good game but langworthy will have to be at there best to beat the view at home

Oh yeh it will defo be a good game I only wish I could be there to watch it. Not sure who I would put my money on. Springview are a good team but I hear langworthy have picked up a few new players. Who do u think?
