Wasn't a good game to play in, we were 30-0 up before half time and the intensity dropped right off, we were sloppy second half and will need to be much better this week for Leyland.

Leyland are a very decent team young and very well disciplined they cained us with discipline at the end of they year should be a good 1st test for you men.

Our 1st test was against Irlam, don't underestimate them they are a very good side. I know what you mean though, big game with both sides unbeaten. How did you do against Leyland last year?

We beat them 1st game of season last year 28 14 away and then lost 2nd too last game 18-10 we had 2 men sent off and 2 sin binned they will grind and grind away and dont give any penaltys away at all so you have too work for every yard you make young fit team should be a good game. And oh yeah i forgot about you playing them. Cadishead seem to have improved this year been putting some good results together should be a good game for us saturday

good result for you men that how was the game?? we were awful saturday but give credit to cadishead they played to a game plan stacked the middle and battered us inm the forwards we hada try dissallowed with about 3 mins left that wasa perfect try but that happens and we probably didnt deserve to win got a very big game this saturday got to put last week right this week

Good performance from us, after going 8-0 down in as many minutes to two tries out wide. We were much better for the rest of the game, think it was 18-8 at half time and only conceded again late on when an offload in our own 20 was intercepted. Much better performance than the last two, even though the scores have all been pretty similar.

Quiet league week with the Lancashire Cup taking place, Irlam play Rylands and Cadishead have a tough game away at Spring View. Bamber Bridge playing Malta's national side away this weekend!

Any word on Eccles & Salford oggy? Looks like the gave the game away this week but a couple of close games before that.

another big set mate actually very big they have a big number 8 thats rapid that comes on short balls all game. They have a 20 stone prop that kicks the ball the length of the field too lol. Should put a few on them but expect the 1st 20 of each half to be very hard big physical set. We playing higginshaw this week too should ge back to winning way

Is the Higginshaw game re-arranged then I take it? Better to get them out of the way before the backlog next year.

and your right most are big packs the smallest teams last year were us moss bank spring view and woolston lol

We had a cracking game with Spring View in the Ken Gee Cup in May, they aren't exactly small either lol. Those three sides in the division above all going well again.

Yeah mate, beat them by two in the preliminary then beat St Judes by 2 aswell, can't remember the scores but they were both pretty high scoring. Got beat by St Cuthberts 28-12 the week before they played in National Cup Final.

It's basically the U18's team from a few years ago with a few older ones thrown in. I think this is the fourth season of open age, we were a brand new open age side then so it was definitely right to start us at the bottom and hopefully work our way up.



Pretty much yeah, not too many changes. Had a few out with injuries and working this season but only 2 have left or joined another club. Six or seven new lads down aswell so the squad is a lot stronger, competition for places now which we've never had before.

we was the same started the same time as you men but i think we could have started off in division 5 but everyone else has only started in 6 so its only fair

and o right weere the same we have 8 under 19s signed n of which 5 play every game young squad we lose out to sides in size. Were agrressive and skillfull and tackle well but it always takes it out of you against size. Cant wait for tommorow to put right last week

i dont know what were trying to do to ourselves we were rubbish again yesterday quite annoying now

at least we aint losing when were playing bad could be a good sign

We were scrappy yesterday, awful start we were 16-0 down and only scored our first try right on half time. Much better second half and would have kept a clean sheet again in second half if it wasn't for another silly intercept try in our own 20. Made it hard for ourselves but credit to Eccles aswell, real physical side and play some smart stuff around the ruck. Big aggressive set, sore today!
