I think thats a pretty fair assessment. Us at Pilks really look forward to the fixtures with new springs as its always a good test. I think our pack dominated today and our kicking game was spot on. I think thats what won us the game in the end. Already looking forward to them coming to City Road.

Anyone see the Irlam V Higgys game, interested to see how Higgys went, we have em in the bowl on Saturday?

They got hammered at wk end but we played em last wk and they were ok. They got a guy at prop who is a big unit and strong as a bull who is a handfull and ther 6 has a good kicking game (he kicked us to death). also got told that ther usual scrum half is a top player however he never played against us.

They are a better side than that result suggests, big aggressive set of forwards but you men should have too much for them at home.

we played em a couple of times last season...this time last year it was 40-0 to us at home.....in april we beat em about 38-24 at there place, from what i remember they were a complete different side second time around and it was a rough game.

Thats what you will getfrom them. Big Physical side wont play much rugby but will match it up the middle. We got on top of them phyiscally at home they doen like it when it kicks off so just go out on fire give it them in the 1st 10 should be ok. They are a better team than last year though. Watch for the ginger second row Kyle Eastmonds cousin good player too will run all day

suffering now lol just shows how the standard is getting better every year we aint got a game till 5th of december now you men go a game saturday??

It just didn't happen for us, had a perfectly good try disallowed for a forward pass and the ref was in the way of the final pass for another.

The effort has been there in the last two games but it's just not clicking for us at the minute. I suppose everyone has these blips at some stage though, just hope that's it now! You're right about the standard, much better than last year all the games have been competitive.

Haha he was a good ref but we were fuming when the ball hit him, another of the lads picked the ball up and would have scored aswell but he had already given a scrum. There were no fixtures meant for this week but we are supposed to be halfway through the season now and every team has had at least one game called off so better to play them now.

Not a great game, unfortunately shocking refereeing prevented the game getting going. Some decisions were just comical but the best one came when he asked our team manager the score

it must be something about refs against cadishead. When we played them at home refferee said we were winning by 8 with 5 minutes left they scored and kicked goal he said it was level

Haven't played Cadishead yet but they look a tough side, only won once but have the best defence in the league.

Every game they have been in has been close, just goes to show what a tough league it is this year.

your right bout Cadishead big physical team hard too break down not much in attack but certainly make there tackle count

i personally think that all cadishead lack is a good half back cos they have got a quality pack, big and aggressive and some decent backs. just lack decent organisation and a bit of skill.

did the kiwi look alike number 6 not play against you men played against us had a very good kicking game kept turning us round its a belting league this year just been beaasted at training tonight now i just wish saturday will be on but cant see it
