looks like its gonna be at Rabbit Hills pal...the kids games got moved from the clubhouse/park last weekend cos the pitch was under water and its not stopped raining since...we trained up at rabbit hills tonite and pitch is holding up well apart from bottom corner which is a bit soft and only 1 puddle that i counted so we should be on regardless of what the weather does between now and saturday

As I recall the pitch on rh was in decent nik when we played u in January, hopefully we will be on!

Rabbit Hills drains brilliantly...if you look off to the back of it you can see the difference between the 'hills' and the Irwell valley below. the water just does straight through...

Just got to hope no travellers pitch up on there as used to happen when I was at the old Langworthy club!

haha i remember that well. had to ask them to move out of the in-goal area so we could play. fair play they did move and by some miracle there was not sh*te on the pitch!!

Rabbit Hills has cracking pitches that hold up well pretty well most of the year. Lets hope Salford Council keep there hands off. Heard they want to turn them in to footie pitches.

Langworthy 36 - 22 Spring View....another good performance by us and in the end was a fair result, despite leading 10-0 early on we pressed the self destruct button again and had to chase the game as spring view took the lead on a couple of occasions, had to overcome a sin binning in second half as well, was all square at 22 all with 15 to go but our fitness saw us through, we just need to start being more consistant and killing teams off when we have the chance rather than sitting back and accepting what we've got...fair do's to spring view players for taking defeat well

Well done langworthy, fair result in the end, much improvement needed from us....

Shocking effort from us boys in the first half against Heysham, but won the second half which shows good signs about our fitness.

Went up to Heysham with a scratch side again, I am getting ed off with the lack of commitment from some lads when travelling is involved, I can guarantee that we will have 25 to choose from next week

Anyway, thats all 3 cumbria trips done for the season, roll on a home game next week, think we have got SV at home

Heysham seem to do that to teams at home, they set off like a house on fire then fade in the second half.

Just for the record Morecambe is in Lancashire not Cumbria. You can keep them and all the s that live there, we dont want them thanks.

They have brought the fixtures from the 5th November forward to leave a free weekend for the 4 nations double header at Wembley I think.

Great local derby played in good spirit. Gutted we didnt get the win after dominating for so long, we were deffo worth a point if not both. Well done to Ulvie though they wore us down in the end. Good luck to them for the rest of the season.

HFH 18 - 32 SV

Good game yesterday, a massive dig from our lads considerin we travelled with 15 lads, being slaughtered with injuries and lads working on Saturdays, aswell a few lads who would soooner go out and get pi$$ed than play. A credit to all the boys we played some excellent stuff at times and to 0 HFH in the second half was a top top effort.

Though a couple of lads shone for HFH, 7 excellent as usual, 4 was a handful.

Well done.

Was a tough game played in good spirits

HFH could you ask around your place, one of the coaches lads STEEDEN NRL balls signed by Michael Maguire and Ryan Hoffman went missing, sure its been picked up by mistake, If you could ask around, lad was really upset losin it.

Langworthy Reds 22 Orrell St James 16....not our best performance by a mile but a wins a win, had to really grind the result out in the end but good to see we can do the hard work when needed...Orrell made it difficult for us as their big pack dominated our forwards in the first half but we pulled it round in second half and could have been a larger winning margin if we didn't bomb at least 3 tries...big game next week for us, local derby vs Irlam should be interesting

Yeah mate, we got asked after the game and at the club afterwards, if we find it we will return it pal.

To be honest, if it went into the bushes where we take 10m (your side of the pitch) then we may struggle, did it get used on the pitch, to be honest our match balls are pretty new and we always tend to have them on whilst playing, just wondering how it went missing.

Will let you know asap if we come across it.

HFH yes it got kicked on off Spring View touch so not sure were it went
