I see Tony smith as named 18 players and has dropped two fit players surely that means we have another player coming hopefully parcell

Definitely for me I’d drop Atkin and Lee play parcell for 80 with Lawler as cover and try playing mose and mich together they never seem to be on the field at the same time and I would of dropped shaw for dagger

The thing with shaw is poor tackler,but imo the best goalkicker in the league which as we have seen can be so important.

So rumours on social media suggest that Lolohea will be going to Salford as part of the deal for Lui which could cast doubt on whether or not we need to get rid of Parcell.

If the Parcell deal goes ahead I suspect we'll see another player through the door at Leeds before much longer.

But if a player is only on loan it will not free up the quota spot will it ? Is that not why we had to get rid of Vaivai on a permanent deal

I'm probably an outdated fuddy-duddy from the 1980's, but I like my wingers to be wingers. Shaw is one of mine and my son's favourite Rovers Players, as you rightly say he's the only person on the books who can go full length. His kicking is top class too. I don't know why wingers are judged on ball carrying from our own line or their ability to tackle 19 stone props, it's not their job?
I'm sure the lads over the River don't mind Mark Snooze missing the odd tackle or two, he more than makes up for it in other areas.

As for Vai-Vai, it's a shame because he was one of our favourite players too but has for some reason lost all confidence this season and, looking at it commercially, he was constituting poor value for money in terms of a quota spot. Good luck to him in France though.

Confirmed that Lunt is on loan as well. So its a double edged sword if they do try either of the above.

From Parcells point of view it makes sense to come on loan at first and then sign a deal when we know we’ll be safe
