Whether we do or don't the fact remains that FC won more points over the course of last year ( a season on which Zod predicted 3rd for Rovers and 9th for FC), so it's fair to challenge the statement that Rovers are a "far better" team. I think Rovers will win by some margin, but this is due in part to our current shambolic situation in the pivots.

There are a lot of douches who criticise players like Dowes, Radford and Cusack. But they get through a lot of work and are great defenders and every team needs them.

But to some extent I do agree, O'Meley is the hardest to handle forward i've seen in a Hull shirt for a long time and Fitzgibbon is a machine. But the others are still good players.

yes Hull have a skinny squad, yes they have no h/b's, yes Agar likes his 5 drives and a kick tactic. BUT.....
they also have a very good pack that will stand up to any in S/L,
the pitch will be a leveller too IMO, last game to be played, a bit of a mud bath should make conditions hard to play in, BUT........

Bookmaking is about maths not opinions. You could use a 'Wisdom of Crowds' argument, but this particular market is distorted by certain, different sized, parts of the crowd desiring particular outcomes.

yes as i said for whatever reason, their odds should look very very tempting to all the people who think this game is a 20 point victory to the dobbins,as the bookies will give odds against a kr win its not rocket science

You suggested that GraftonRed believed the bookies were wrong. My point is that bookies don't really have opinions, they balance the herd and the size of the Hull FC punt will be bigger than the Hull KR, so our odds/handicap will likely always be [ua bit[/u more generous than they should be.
